Just Letting was launched in response to a need for a focused and professional residential property rental and management company. Since 2000, our national franchise division has grown to just below 100 owner-managed franchises. Just Letting franchisees are entrepreneurs that see the benefits of being part of a stable and growing concern.

 
 

These franchisees report to one of six regional master franchisees, giving each region the opportunity to adapt to its individual environments, trends and systems. These six regional master franchisees in turn report to Just Letting Head Office who collectively manages the business to the benefit of all its franchisees and clients. Making a decision to invest in any business opportunity is a serious matter. Pertinent Advice
Ask the right questions and be aware of some key pointers:

 
  • Ask other franchisees about their experience with the company
  • Ensure that you receive a complete list of all the franchise owners, instead of a selective list of references
  • Get all promises in writing. Any verbal commitments must be included in the contract you sign
  • Investigate earning claims, thus ensuring you understand how the business works
  • Don't be seduced by get-rich-quick promises
  • Never trust a representative who evades or ignores your questions
  • Don't rush into finalising a deal. A solid, established and successful franchiser understands that making the right decision takes time
  • Consult a lawyer, accountant or professional business advisor to read any disclosure documents and proposed contracts

We believe that a key success factor in owning a Just Letting franchise is that all franchisees are owner-operated. In other words, you have to run the business yourself because it is not a business in which to invest if you want to employ a manager to run it on your behalf.

Disclosure Pack
If you are interested in joining the Just Letting franchise family, you will be provided with a comprehensive disclosure pack that contains all the information you will need to do a detailed investigation and an offer to purchase. The pack includes:

 
  • The franchise agreement promotes uniformity and details all the relevant trademark issues and provisions of operation
  • Details of the required initial investment and the total investment
  • Cash flow and average revenue projections
  • A full list of franchisees to encourage potential franchisees to study the market and make informed decisions
  • Full details of training and support provided by the franchiser. This will equip the franchisee with all that is required from staff recruitment and training tips to effectively running your office
